This scene comes from hiking in Northern NSW and hopefully encapsulates the feeling that comes from being immersed in the cool dark forest

The bird sings not because he has the answers, but because he has a song.
Oh I like that. It just sucks you in as a viewer. Great work :)

Beautiful!

The details and tones you use are great.

I love this piece! Definitely gives the right effect. I love forests like this, too; so natural and beautiful.

"No wonder kids grow up crazy. A cat's cradle is nothing but a bunch of X's between somebody's hands, and little kids look and look and look at all those X's..."
'And?'
"No damn cat, and no damn cradle."
It does, I hike all the time and this definitely reminds me of it. Although next time you should have two boys hitting each other with walking sticks, just to make it more realistic. (I'm just kidding about that, although I do regularly see that on my hikes. ;))

Beautiful painting once again. I love the patches of light you have coming through the tree tops.

Most of the forest nearby aren´t that "wild" any more. There are bicycle-trails and roads everywhere. You picture reminds me of the site at the lakes of Killarney in Ireland. *dreamsherselfaway*
