This is an idea that was bumping around in my head for a while - I drew some thumbnails to refine it some, then refined it some more in Vue (terrain program).
I struggled a little with the medium (oil) and the photo (glare and focus) but whining aside, here it is!
Original is 1220mm x 440mm oil on board

I love the contrast between the heavy massive stone work and the lightness of the atmosphere and distance behind it. Great sense of depth and of presence at the same time. Beautiful piece of work! :clap:
