Rivercamp by postapocalypsia Rivercamp by postapocalypsia
This was done from a canoe tied up to a submerged log in the river. I painted what I could before the light changed and then tweaked it when I got home.

This river camp is irresistibly attractive! First, you notice the smoke, then the fire. But where is the human presence?

I want to be you when I grow up. I'm just discovering your work for the first time and every painting takes me somewhere fantastic. Rivercamp is just so serene and peaceful.

It is amazing that you can paint on a canoe :D I should try that too! The painting is beautiful and so pleasant to look at.

Wonderful. You've captured the serenity of a quiet river and the pleasure of a comfortable place to camp. I love the movement of light and shade.

It almost feel like I'm sitting there and watching this wonderful scene in real life. You've done a great job on the reflections in the water and I love how the shadowy part to the right balances up everything so beautifully.

Please continue to paint and be creative!
